I'm really excited about this blog and my new adventure! I love birth photography - ever since I was a child I was captivated with the idea of freezing time, light and emotions. By the time my second child was born, I was totally hooked on births - the emotions! Yikes! Well now I've found a way to combine my childhood love with my adult love - BIRTH PHOTOGRAPHY! I can't wait to share this new exciting journey with this blog!

I love all types of photography, and will certainly share that here as well. In fact, while I've had the opportunity to photograph several births so far (and can't wait to do more!) I thought I'd share a few pictures from a very fun photo shoot until I get some model releases all lined up. Yes, these are 3 of my own kiddos here - a friend and I rented some studio space earlier this month, and these are a few of the pictures I was able to capture of my younger children. We start with Meredith, then Allison, and finally Lydia. Aren't they beautiful?
